FSUCard
The FSUCard is your access to the many services at Florida State University including computing on campus. The first thing you should do upon admission to FSU is acquire your FSUCard.
You may obtain your FSUCard at the FSUCard Center located in Parking Garage #1 at the corner of West Call Street and Woodward Avenue between the FSU Bookstore and SunTrust Bank. The FSUCard Center is open 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. When visiting, please remember to take your valid driver's license, passport or current military ID with you.
Your FSUCard is also the "Official Student ID Card” which is necessary for accessing computer labs, getting academic discounts at the Computer Store and Bookstore, entry into sporting events, access to dorms, and much more.

FSUID
You are eligible to create your FSUID account after you are officially accepted to the University. The FSUID account gives you an official FSU email account, access to the FSU Network, Blackboard (http://campus.fsu.edu) for class registration, and much more.
Official FSU notices are sent to your FSU email account, and Blackboard gives you secure access to your personal student information. It is important to familiarize yourself with these systems and access your account on a regular basis.
To activate your FSUID account:
- Go to the Blackboard login screen (http://campus.fsu.edu)
- Click the link “Activate Your FSUID, located to the right of the login area
- Follow the steps to setup the FSUID account
Mail clients such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Vista Mail, Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird, Mac Mail, Entourage, etc. may be used to access your FSU email. Information on configuring these settings can be found at http://helpdesk.fsu.edu/links.html.
