FSU Network – FSUWIN (Wireless Network)
FSUWIN (Florida State University Wireless Integrated Network):
The FSUWIN is a local area network, which allows mobile users to connect to the Local Area Network (LAN) through a wireless connection. Wireless connectivity is available in many classrooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, and other public areas. There are 3 Residence Halls that have a wireless connection: Salley, DeGraff, and Wildwood.
To connect to the FSUWIN, a laptop or other mobile device must have a 802.11a/g or 802.11a/b/g wireless network card. Wireless hardware upgrades are available at the FSU Computer Store for laptops that do not have integrated wireless technology.
